WildCat Creek Farms, located in eastern Colorado, specializes in breeding top Belgian Blue Cattle and has been breeding Belgian Blue’s since 1994. Wildcat Creek Farms offer full-blood Belgian Blue heifers, bulls, and semen. We also offer 1/2 blood and 3/4 blood.
Our leading bull is from England and throws natural birth calves, never having to assist at birth of calves.

During the second century, bulls of the Shorthorn Breed, the top ranking cattle breed of the time , were introduced into Belgian to improve their native cattle. Belgian Blue cattle as they exist today are a result of selective genetic breeding and development conducted in Belgium by Professor Hansel at the A.I. Center in the Providence of Liege. In the late fifties, breeding was concentrated for more muscling.
The Belgian Blue is the most efficient producer of lean beef in the world. In quality conscious Europe, the Blue is today’s fastest growing breed. North America consumers are now demanding quality low-fat, low-cholesterol, tender beef. The Belgian Blue is the answer to that demand.
From a consumer’s view, Belgian Blues genetically produce tender red meat without fat. This means health conscious consumers can enjoy beef while obtaining the nutritional benefits thought to be found only in chicken. In fact, 4 oz. of Belgian Blue chop meat has lower cholesterol and calories than poultry, but higher in protein.
